You just need to insert and remove it on the same day of the week. The time of day is not important.
Being an hour late once a year won't reduce the efficacy. You just need to insert and remove it on the same day of the week.
You insert a new NuvaRing every four weeks. So if you put in the last one on March 1styou take it out on March 22nd and put the new one in on March 29th. You don't put in the next one on April 1st, May 1st, etc. Each ring packet contains stickers you can use to keep track. There's also a web site/app that can help reminder you (see related links).
Yes, you remove NuvaRing three weeks after inserting it, on the same day of the week. Then you insert the next ring seven days later, on the same day of the week.
No, you only need to insert NuvaRing on the same day of the week every time, not the same time of day.
After 29 days wearing the Nuvaring, you remove it (for 7 days). Then you get your period and you use the softcups. You're period is already over, when you have to insert a new Nuvaring. So you''ll never have to wear both at the same time. a user of both ;-)
Yes, you can do so without any additional risk of pregnancy. You may have irregular spotting, though.
If you miss the first three days of your NuvaRing cycle, you should use a backup method until you've worn the ring for seven days. If you had sex during that time, consider using emergency contraception.
Not a physician here, just a Nuvaring user for 3+ years. I would say yes, put it in the week After you SHOULD have gotten your period, just to keep your body on the same schedule. I once skipped a month of having the Nuvaring in, thinking I' could start again once I got my period, but I ended waiting two months for my next period and by then my body was all out of whack because the hormone cycle was broken. If you put the ring in when you normally would, after the week you should have gotten your period, you'll just skip your period that month, maybe with some spotting, but your body will still be on the same cycle.
If your Nuvaring comes out, then your chances of pregnancy are the same as any female without contraceptive protection.
Whales do the same thing every month. But, every year they migrate.
Nothing. It doesn't have to be inserted at the same time each week. My gyno told me I can leave it in an extra week if I'm going on vacation or want to hold off my period a week for some reason...there are enough hormones in it to leave it in an extra week, so the matter of a few hours is not important.
No
Since there are 365.25 days in a year (approximately, if every month had the same number of days, the calendar would soon be out of synch with the seasons.
There is a full moon every month of the year - on rare occasion, two full moons in the same month.
