This is a trip-up question. Answer modestly and you sound like a weak applicant, who lacks confidence.

Answer too boldly, you come across as a narcissist or worse, somebody with a sense of self-entitlement.

You want to answer this question with a vein of confidence, but follow your "yes" with a good reason, rather than just smugly grinning. You aim to make any and all interview questions a chance to sell yourself as a capable speaker, capable worker, and confident person. Turn negative sounding questions around. This applies for "What is your greatest weakness?" as well.
