Does Edward Elric die in the manga?

Yeah, but Al brought him to life with Philosopher's Stone.

It's hard to kill Edward Elric, but in the last 3 episodes of the anime, he is kill by Envy, sending Ed inside the gate. Al ( which he is the philsopher's stone) brings Ed back to life, leaving Al to the gate, after finding out Al's sacrefice, Ed got Al back from the gate, Ed is now in our world (Earth) iofthe date of World War 2 in Germany, where he is finding a way out of this world to his home Amestris. Eventally, Al goes to Earth, too.

In the manga and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Ed does not die. He comes close a few times, though.

Well, in episode 50 and 51, Edward dies from Envy. Then Al, switches places with Ed and dies, *gets breathe* then Ed cames back to life, soon he discovers what Al did, then Al is back to life again by Ed, leaving Ed in the world of Earth in the year 1923.

So, in otherwords, in a way he did and didn't.

If I were you I would watch the last 2 episodes to understand better.

They don't die at all. they just make it look like they do but they don't.

Ed and Al was trying to bring their mother back to life and as they put their hands on Ed's transmutation circle, a purple-ish aura surrounds the circle and some how, Al dies *but some how Ed puts a blood transmute on the inside of a body of armor* and Ed loses his right arm and left leg.

No. At the end of both the anime and manga, Alphonse Elric is very much alive. He also regains his body in both.

He didn't die. He was about to lose his soul but thanks to Ed, through great sacrifice, he sacrifice his arm or leg. Ed put him in a suit of armor.
