What the President believes about Christ will not affect his duties as President. Some say: Why would anybody believe in what he does, and truthfully believe in Jesus Christ the son of the living God? But, the truth is that Mr Obama goes to church on a regular basis (which is more than Bush or Reagan ever did when they were in office).
Another answerYou will read that he believes Jesus is The Son of God but you will be hard pressed to find a direct quote that he believes Jesus is God The Son. Also I have seen President Obama refer to The Holy Spirit all in lower case.
Another answerThis is what he stated in an interview with the periodical Christianity Today: "I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ."
The president has said repeatedly that he is a Christian, so there is no reason to doubt what he says. He was married in a church, he had his two daughters baptized, his wife has been a Christian all her life. Now, that said, there are several hundred different kinds of Christian denominations, and not all of them believe that Jesus is the same as God. Some believe Jesus is the son of God, and that God the father is separate. If you are asking whether Mr. Obama believes in the same kind of Christianity that you do, that is difficult to say. But we do know he follows Protestant Christianity; and since the constitution says we should not have any "religion test," let's take him at his word that he is a Christian.
Barack Obama is a Christian and his beliefs would very much accord with that description.
This is what he has said: In an interview with the evangelical periodical Christianity Today, Obama stated: "I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ."
Of course. She was raised in a Christian home and has always followed the Christian faith, all her life.
