She loved Jacob as a brother or family, they were never really destined to be together. When she was crying over Jacob, it was because she was worried that she hurt him, and she didn't want to lose the friendship that they had.

No. Bella only saw her life with Jacob and what it would be like if she chose him. But her heart was always set on the future with Edward. Bella never changed her mind on who she was going to choose, even in New Moon. In New Moon, she was just very confused, and if you read the book you'd know that Bella only thought of Jacob as a friend. And even when they were kissing (2nd time) in Eclipse, Bella only realized she was in love with him, too... but she never changed her mind on who she was going to spend the rest of her life with. Her heart was always set on the future with Edward. :] OMG TOTTALY AGREE she was never with him always with edward obviously Jacob thought other ways she was never ment to be with Jacob THANK GOD but edward was the one for her and she only loved Jacob as a friend

BREAKING DAWN SPOILER In Breaking Dawn, she realizes that it wasn't that she was in love with him. It was Renesmee in her all along. Jacob also realizes that while Bella is being turned into a vampire and he officially imprints on Renesmee. But in Eclipse, Bella kisses Jacob and realises that she loves him more than Edward.I will get to the point, Bella loves Jacob more....and so do I!!!..........................................................................................................................................i feel exactly the same way she always always always loved edward more its just in new moon she needed someone to fill that void but in eclipse when she "loves" Jacob she juist thinks she does but it is actually renesmee. i love edward more to!!!!!! But, Edward, he can never become human, and me, if I were Bella, I wouldn't want to be stuck at a certain age forever.
