Frodo's wounds do not ever fully heal (Knife wound from Weathertop, Sting from Shelob) After his adventures, Frodo gets ill on the anniversaries of both of these wounds for as long as he lives.

In the Lord of the Ring movies Frodo was stabbed in his left shoulder and towards the end of the movie he lost his finger to Gollum.

Mainly, he begins to fade. He would have faded completely had not Elrond finally found and removed the fragment of the Morgul Blade still embedded in the partially healed wound.
