No - it is perfectly compatible with Vista. As long as your specs meet the minimum recommendation, then your computer should be set. I have personally played minecraft on a Vista - at least three Vista's!
I don't know what you're talking about. It opens on mine just fine.
Cos windows vista is crap...
Windows XP: Open the start menu, click "Run" then type %appdata%. It will open a folder with Roaming in it. Open that, and then click on the .minecraft file. Windows 7: Open the start menu, and then type %appdata% in the search bar. It will open a folder with Roaming in it. Open that, and then click on the .minecraft file.
windows
Go to your ".minecraft" folder, and open the "screenshots" folder. If you're using any flavour of Windows, then press the Windows flag key and the R key together, and you'll get the "Run..." dialog. Type this into the box (including the percent signs, and, if you want, the quotes): "/.minecraft/screenshots" and press Enter. Voila!
if you are using windows 7 1 click start, type %appdata% 2 open . minecraft and delete bin 3 start minecraft and update if you are not using windows 7 1 click run/%appdata% 2 open . minecraft and delete bin 3 start minecraft and update
you right click then scroll to open
Any computer that has windows built in can run windows and open office. I have personally tried this before on my old computer, as it came with open office. So basically, any computer. Even a mac can be re-programmed by an expert to use the windows format, but it can't use mac tools. It would literally be a windows computer in a mac's body.
Winrar, 7zip those types of programs
That happened when i tried to do it on my computer at school when the school has blocked it you can not get on but you can ask you librarian or a teacher why they blocked it and why they did.
usually it revolves around this method:download the modpress windows (the picture of the windows sign on your keyboard)+rtype in %appdata% and press enterclick on the .minecraft foldergo into binyou will see a file called minecraft.jar. to open this, you have to download WinRar (just google it and download it)when you have winrar, right click on minecraft.jar and select open with/ winrardrag all of the files inopen minecraft and see if it has workedif this doesnt work, check where you downloaded it from. there will probably be a step by step guide pn how to download it if it is more complex.
Windows key, E, press windows key and hold then E, to open my computer.

You either lost your operating system if it was windows based or an application that was windows based or your tabs (windows open)
