Naruto loses cuz he doesnt want to really kill sasuke, and sasuke doesnt really want to kill naruto. (cuz itachi told him to kill naruto, and sasuke never listens to itachi)
so sasuke just knocked him out after he used all his chakra. he also cheated (not really, i just hate him)

Sasuke doesn't kill Naruto. In the last few episodes of Shippuden Naruto kills Sasuke in a fight to the death. If your talking about the big fight at the waterfall I don't think Naruto actually dies. He just gets really hurt. Sasuke did that because Naruto was trying to stop him from leaving so they got into a fight. Also, it was to see who was stronger.
