Both New York City and Fort Wayne, Indiana are in the Eastern Time Zone, and both observe Daylight Saving Time so there is no time difference between the two cities. If it is 1pm in NYC, it is 1pm in Ft. Wayne. Most of Indiana did not observe Daylight Saving Time until April 2, 2006 so Ft. Wayne used to be a 1 hour behind New York City in "summer time". But this is no longer the case.
