S-video is a two wire interface that supports standard definition video only. Although HD equipment may have an S-video connector as an input or an output, the connection will only handle SD. Often, HD receivers or Bluray players will have a composite or S-video output to allow a standard definition output to be used on older equipment. Domestic HD is almost always connected via HDMI and is the only common standard for HD in the home. No other interface is normally available for the simple reason that HDMI can be protected to prevent high definition copies of material being made. If a copy of a program is to be made, about the only method is to use one of the standard definition outputs such as S-video.
Most digital TVs will have both composite and S-video inputs. Check with the manual or look for an S-video connector on the rear of the television to find out.
American TV went Digital and Play TV is not for Digital TV so it will not work in the USA
No, but you can buy small portable digital TVs now.

Older televisions can make the switch to digital programming with a digital converter. The converters are usually about $20-$60 and are available at most electronics stores.
Yes
No reason why not - digital TV's have a standard aerial connector in addition to one or more SCART sockets.
If you mean a set top digital box, then you can connect that to any tv.... otherwise..... It doesnt work that way. The digital signal is a part of the analog signal. Just screw the cable wire on to the back of your tv.
Look on the side or the back of your machine for a SVIDEO out port. If it has...buy the SVIDEO out cable that connects to your TV's or projector's RCA-in. You can also buy what is called a VGA adapter. This is a much better device as it is a multi-port device and it plugs into your VGA port of your machine...normally blue in color where you connect a monitor to) on the side or back of machine. The VGA adapter connects VGA-in and RCA-out to TV or projector. Both these items are available. What kind of digital converter? Digital TV converter? Digital sound converter? Video converter? So many different analogue sources can be converted to digital... ...and there is usually a converter available or that can be made to work.
No, it won't work that way. You will have to buy a new one.
Only if the TV has a digital (ATSC) tuner. If it has an analog (NTSC) tuner only, it will not work with over-the-air digital broadcasts. In that case you'll need some sort of converter.
