Well... legends say that Santa's helpers watch children all year long, and then at Christmas time they sort of give him a report of who was naughty or nice, if you watch the movie ''Fred Claus'' it answers your question; and you also see a pretty cool movie. Of course those are myths because Santa does not exist.
