Thank you very much for the question. Amazingly, yesterday only, I read in Vivekananda's literature that he healed a man possessing the powers that Shirdi Sai Baba had. He touched him as the sick man had asked him to do. The sick man told Vivekananda that since Vivekananda was a "holy man"...his touch would cure him.Vivekananda told him, he would oblige if the man showed him the magic of creating something from nothing. Immediately the man was cured after Vivekananda touched him. Vivekananda and his friends then wrote on a page all sorts of foreign fruits. The man just produced them in abundance out of nowhere. I believe that that man, was none other than Shirdi Sai Baba.This will prove that Sathya Sai Baba and Shirdi are ONE, cos Sai Baba claims that Vivekananda will take over His mission some day ^^ Thank you very much. There is no historical evidence or documented record of Swami Vivekananda meeting Sai Baba of Shirdi. Swami Vivekananda was a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and was active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, while Sai Baba of Shirdi was a saint who lived in the 19th century. Their paths and locations did not intersect during their lifetimes.

To the concern of the mandali, instead of eating all the meat, Baba would share it with Mastan who enjoyed it very much. After Baba died, Mastan refused to eat and died soon after. He was all heart and his total devotion to Baba touched the mandali deeply.PETER was a black Cocker Spaniel given to Mani while Baba and the mandali were staying near the Himalayas in Mussorie. He was very calm and loving. Mani trained Peter to carry a basket in his mouth and each day he'd meet the mailman and carry the mail back to the compound. One time some baby squirrels fell onto the roof and the women mandali nursed them and took care of them. Peter saw them taking care of the squirrels and soon became the surrogate mother of the squirrels. There is a wonderful photograph of these squirrels climbing on Peter.
