On top of the moter , passenger side it has fuel line running to injector pump
behind the fuel filter bracket bar and alternator.

A ford focus does not have a diesel fuel filter. It runs on regular fuel. Preferably 87 octane
Do NOT use Diesel fuel in a Ford Focus. The engine will stop running and you will have to drain the gas tank to rid the car of the diesel fuel. Gasoline engines are not designed to run on diesel. They do not have enough compression to cause the diesel fuel to combust The only engine used in a 2000 Ford Focus was the 2.0 which is NOT a diesel engine.

Depends on the year and if it is diesel or gasoline. On some it is located inside the engine compartment. Follow the fuel lines from the fuel tank and you will find it unless it is a permanent filter mounted inside the fuel tank.

Its the spray on liner inside the tank. Once that is gone you will get rust.
