Yes there is a pcv valve. It depends on what kind of engine you have but they are usually located on the top of one of the valve covers with a hose going to it. It should just pull out and a good way to test it is to shake it. if it rattles then it is probably ok, but this is such a cheap part (usually) that if it has a lot of miles on it then just replace it.
YES , a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis 5.0 liter V8 engine has a PCV valve ( Motorcraft part number EV-98-B ) going into the intake manifold
The PCV valve is located under the MAP sensor on a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix. The MAP sensor is in the upper plenum.
Is the big silver plate on top of the engine that reads 5.0.
Check the engine end of the upper radiator hose
the fuel pump is located inside of the gas tank.
The stock amp in a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis is in the dash behind the radio.
the 89 with the 360 has the pcv valve in line behind the carburator.
The thermostat is located on the front of the engine under the elbow at the end of the radiator hose
If the eng is a 5.0L it is located behind the eng middle to the left I also strongly recommend changing the P.C.V screen located just under the valve you will need a angle pick to remove it If the eng is a 4.6L the valve is located on the RT valve cover.
