No, schnauzers do not shed. They need to be groomed regularly however - because they don't lose their hair, they need to be trimmed to keep them looking neat & tidy! If their hair is not trimmed, it will simply continue to grow. Schnauzers make great indoor dogs because they won't leave hair around your house, but remember, because they don't shed like some other dogs, they don't lose their dirty & soiled hair. As a result, they will need to be bathed in order to keep them smelling fresh! Do not bathe them frequently, just about once a month.
Miniature Schnauzers do not shed. If you have to shave a dog for summer it does not shed. I know you may find some of their hair around the house, but not as much as shedding dogs. Their hair sometimes just falls out lightly, like when they are playing.
No, but there is no such thing as a Teacup Schnauzer!!! This is a mixed breed or a breeder breeding runt to runt in a litter. This is WRONG!! Also, it causes health problems and can cause a decreased life span.
Hi,
I have a 2 year old Boxer Schnauzer mix. When we first brought her home we were not sure if she was going to shed or not. Knowing that Schnauzers don't shedd a boxers do...we had to just wait it out. Turns out she does shedd a little just like a boxer does. It's not bad with regular grooming. :)
Every dog sheds. Even hypoalergenic dogs. Just somehave curly hair and the fur doesn't fall out is as big amounts. (I own a cockapoo, belive me. :) )
So, the awnser would be yes, they do.
No, a miniature schnauzer is a dog that does not cast. I have one myself and find a few but nothing compared to a dog that casts.
Shnauzers do not shed.
nope
i recommend a Schnauzer of some sort they come in miniature, standard and giant they have a brilliant temperament and are non aggressive and get along with kids and other dogs famously! and they don't shed!
My mini schnauzer sheds very lightly
Schnauzer, they are the best dog they are playful and they don't shed hair.
Very little. All animals shed. But these dogs do not shed much.
no dog is hypoallergenic, it is true schnauzer don't shed in the traditional sense that they don't blow there coat like other dogs do. instead the hair gets trapped in the coat and it MUST be combed out . the only hypoallergenic animal is one that has no skin or saliva
There is actually no such thing as a dog that does not shed. All dogs shed at least a little hair at one time or another, as do humans. There are however dogs that shed little to no hair. This is a list of breeds that shed little to hardly any hair: Airedale Terrier Australian Terrier Basenji Bichon Frise Border Terrier Cairn Terrier Cockapoo Giant Schnauzer Italian Greyhound Miniature Poodle Miniature Schnauzer Standard Poodle Standard Schnauzer West Highland White Terrier
almosty all dogs shed hair unfortunately i do however know for sure that all poodle breds dont shed hair the reason is that the dogs grow new hair the old hair becomes dead humans shed also just not as much or often
you mean dogs that dont shed? poodles dont shed there are a lot of poodle mixes too. for example, my dog is a cockapoo (cockerspaniel-poodle mix) and he doesnt shed. If you're getting a half poodle, make sure it has poodle hair because otherwise it could still shed anyway i think yorkies (yorkshire terriers) dont shed but dont quote me on thag\t
Just like humans, dogs lose hair everyday. It's natural.
You should definitely take your miniature schnauzer to your vet! Schnauzers don't shed, and they have hair that grows in their ears. If this hair is not pulled regularly and water gets in their ears, they can have serious ear infections.
Yes, all dogs shed. How much the breed typically sheds, how long the hair is, how often they shed (some do seasonally) and whether they have an undercoat or not will make the hair more or less visible and more or less of a problem. For some lists of dogs that shed less, see the related questions below.
Well, Schnauzers don't shed, but they do tend to lose hair. Having diabetes Will make them weaker and lose more hair in an act of shedding, so yes.
