I have a boxer and he does shed. But their hair is short and heavy so it doesn't float around. It gets into carpet and other fabrics so if you're someone that is very clean I recommend keeping the dog off carpet.

if you want a dog that doesnt shed try a poodle or a dog with poodle init (cavapoo,cockerpoo,labradoodle,goldendoodle,shi-poo,maltipoo ect.) or a bichon frise.

It's a great breed. Just make sure you groom (or have it groomed) regularly. It'll appreciate the attention anyway.
I think like any other dogs that will moult, it depends on their circumstances ie central heating, how often they are groomed etc. If brushed daily, more hair will end up on the brush rather than your home :-)
