Does a child at age 12 have to visit a parent with visitation rights in Michigan?

If there is a court order for visitation it has to be followed until the child turns 18. If there is a legitimate reason the child does not want to visit (ie the parent is a drug user, is abusive, etc), then the custodial parent needs to go back to court and request that the visitation order be modified.

Can you force child visitation?

I think you mean if the visiting parent has a court ordered visitation. If the parent has court ordered visitation then yes the child is forced to be with the parent, that is what the court order is for. If the parent has no court order than legally the answer is "no" but i think if both parents agreed to a time for one of them to spend time with their child the child being a minor must do as the parents tell him or her to do.

Can a parent keep a child from the other parent without court orders in New Mexico?

Not if the parent have court order for custody or visitation unless the child is in danger of some kind and then you better have proof to show the court. To change the court order you need to go back to the court where it was issued to have it modified.

Does the non custodial parent have to continue court ordered child support payments if the minor moves out?

Yes, the non-custodial parent must obey the child support order until it is modified or terminated by the court. If the child has moved out the NC parent can petition the court to have the child support order terminated. The court will review the case and render a decision.

Can custodial parent move out of state if there is an existing child support order in one state?

No. If there is a child support order that means a state court has jurisdiction over the child. If the parent who is paying child support has any parental rights of custody or visitation the custodial parent would need the NC parent's consent and court approval to move out of state. Child Support ordered child tax credit to the non custodial father who has never written called or seen her in 8 years. Can he claim her on his taxes?

Generally, the custodial parent has the statutory right to claim the child as a dependent unless there is a court order specifying the non-custodial parent can claim the child. You should check with an attorney in your jurisdiction or an advocate at the family court. You should also review your child support order.Generally, the custodial parent has the statutory right to claim the child as a dependent unless there is a court order specifying the non-custodial parent can claim the child. Does a parent have to pay back child support to a grandmother if the child was in their care?

Nah. I didn't have to, and my lawer said I didn't have to!(I am serious.)=This may depend on the state and county you live in. In parts of PA, if the grandparents are given custody of a child or have custody of a child, they CAN petition for child support, and yes the parents would have to pay for the care of that child.=

Can a parent be sued for back child support if there was no court order for the child support?

No, usually support is only due when ordered by a court.

Can a parent kick their child out of the house without a court order in the state of Florida?

NO!

Can the custodial parent keep the child from the non custodial parent if the child does not want to go?

No they can not. The key here is the "custodial parent" . You may be able to go to court. But if you keep the child and you are not the custodial parent and there is a court order saying the other parent is the custodial parent, all that person has to do is call the police, and the non custodial parent would have to give up the child.

If one parent has full custody of a child and that parent dies will the living parent get the child?

Yes, unless the living parent has a court order not allowing them to be with the child in that case the child would go to the next relative that is willing to take the child. The surviving parent will still have to go to court to have the custody awarded to him/her. After all, the court felt there was a good reason that the full custody award was rendered in the first place.

Can a child see there biological parent if they don't have custody?

Only if the custodial parent agrees to it or if there is a court order for visitation.
