Depends on the silencer, and the bullet. Some silencers (properly called suppressors) used a "wipe"- material that was moved aside by the bullet, and moved back to trap and slow gasses. Those suppressors could leave a marking on a bullet, especially a soft lead bullet. Few suppressors today use the wipe system, relying more on baffles and precision machining.

How do you stop rifle from making noise?

You don't. A rifle can be quieted down, but not made fully silent (no matter what you see in the movies) A silencer, properly called a suppressor, can reduce the noise caused by the gun firing, but the bullet (moving faster than the speed of sound) makes a CRACK like a whip as it passes through the air.

What is entry exit wound?

An entry and exit wound generally refer to the two parts of a bullet wound that passes all the way through. The entry wound is where the bullet hits something, and the exit wound is where the bullet exits after passing all the way through.

Direction of bullet through glass?

When a bullet passes through glass, it typically follows a curved trajectory due to the change in density from air to glass and then back to air. This can cause the bullet to deviate from its initial path and result in changes to its velocity and trajectory.

Is there any silencer for double barrel shot gun?

You would need a suppressor for each barrel.Shotgun silencers are notoriously ineffective because of the wadding. Regular silencers have a series of baffles that the bullet passes through that scoop away hot, high pressure gas every time the bullet goes through one. The bullet will often pass through 3-10 of these baffles before it leaves, so a lot of gas is scooped away.A shotgun has a wadding which would get caught in the baffles on the first shot, rendering the silencer useless or at least dangerous. The solution has been to use a tube with lots of holes in it that allows gas to escape but keeps the wadding together until it's out the end of the silencer. Holes don't allow as much gas to be diverted away, so more remains as the bullet leaves the suppressor, and the gun remain pretty loud. The other problem with a shotgun silencer is that, as with any large-bore suppressor, there is a really big hole for gas to escape from, so it is hard to divert the center of the gas stream away. .45 silencers are substantially louder than 9mm silencers, which are louder than .22 silencers.A slug-firing shotgun could be suppressed, but again the hole is quite large. In addition, most slugs leave the barrel over the speed of sound, so the sonic crack would defeat your goals with the silencer. If you used a sub-sonic slug you might get a moderate degree of satisfaction from a shotgun silencer. If you did all this in .410 it might even be decent -- but at that point you may as well get one for your .40 cal pistol.

Is material transparent if 97 percent of light passes through it?

Technically, transparency is not an on or off (yes or no) thing. There is a degree of transparency and one quantifies this by saying how much (and at what wavelengths) light is transmitted through a medium. Nonetheless, in daily language people say something is transparent when most of the light passes through and a transmission of far lesss than 97 percent falls into that category. Similarly, people use the term opaque when most of the light does not pass through a material but that usually means no detectable light or a very small fraction of light passes through.
