Theoretically, any antibiotic can cause a yeast infection. Antibiotics assist the body in eliminating infections caused by bacteria (not viruses or funguses i.e. yeast). The vagina is normally full of bacteria. These bacteria live in harmony with each other and are normally harmless. Their presence keeps other bacteria or fungus from running rampant. When a woman takes an antibiotic for an infection elsewhere in the body the antibiotic affects all bacteria in that woman. Due to this affect the vaginal balance of bacteria is lowered, thus allowing for yeast to over grow. This overgrowth is called a yeast infection. The yeast infection can be cured by returning the vaginal environment back to its "normal" state. To cure this you must take an antifungal agent by mouth, vaginal suppository or cream. Some feel that eating 6-8 oz of yogurt daily while taking antibiotic therapy may help to reduce the potential for these type of opportunistic infections to occur.
Amoxicillin is a penicilline-type antibiotics, used for treating bacterial inflammations of all kinds, including those caused by Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Inflammations and STD's (chlamydia and gonorrhea in particular) can cause vaginal odor.
Yes, antibiotics can effect vaginal odor , either by causing secretions to smell like the antibiotic or by causing the over growth of yeast.
Yeast is normally found in the vagina but when taking antibiotics for an infection the bad bacteria and protective bacteria are both killed off, making a prime environment for yeast colonies to grow out of control, causing the tender tissues to become irritated and swollen.
i think it will cause they used it back then but they came up with somethig better and stronger so yes i think it will cure it at an slower pace
Yes like rotten eggs or sulfur
No
Amoxicillin will not cure Bacterial Vaginosis.
No. Amoxicillin does not cure papilloma. Papilloma is due to virus infection. Amoxicillin is ineffective for virus infections.
An impossible vaginal yeast infection?! Why do you want to know how to cure it, if it's impossible to get?
Yes, they can cure bacterial infections but they cannot cure viruses. :)
Amoxicillin and metronidazole are to be taken in combination for a sinus infection. If plain amoxicillin does not work, a formulation with clavulanic acid such as augmentin should be used with metronidazole.
Just because you have a bacterial infection does not always mean you have to have a shot. You can cure a bacterial infection with antibiotics depending on how bad it is.
bacterial..you can't really cure viral infections, only bacterial infections..hence anti-bacterial as antibiotics for a bacterial infection
Take it to a vet.
Antibiotics only cure bacterial infections. Antibiotics will not cure a viral infection.
One of the thing its used for is to cure bacterial infection in the vagina
Antibiotics are used to slow or kill bacterial infections while the bodt's own defences build up.
It is generally used for upper respiratory infections (bacterial), but can be used to treat a UTI (urinary tract infection).
