∙ 12y ago- No, if there is infidelity in some marriages it does not automatically mean the end of that marriage. The quote 'to err is human' is very true. Some men and women may take a look at their marriage and feel they are missing excitement and life in general; wanting to feel 'that magic' again and may have an affair trying to find it. Some men and women want to recapture their youth and feel that the opposite sex is still attracted to them while others may just be non committal. If it is the first time a spouse has had an affair it is better for the spouse being cheated on to confront the spouse who is cheating and give them the option of working on their marriage problems or they will file for a separation or divorce.
