The Daewoo had NO transponder on any of their vehicles from 1999-2002. Incorrect. The Daewoo Leganza had a transponder option in 2001+, as did the Lanos. The Nubria had a transponder option in 2000+.

On a 1999 Leganza it's under the passenger door sill. Remove the plastic sill and it's under the carpet.
The code p1780 indicated a fault in the park/neutral position switch. It has either failed or is out of adjustment.

The fuel pump is located in the gas tank. I was able to access mine through the floor under the rear seat with no problem. I hope this helps

take off the valve cover put on new gasket then put cover back on you if you cant figure it out you should be hit in the head with a tact hammer.
I have the same problem and where I find my parts for daewoo is in the Mazda Dealers... the manual repair cost 45.00 and it will take two weeks for you to get it, they order their parts from Korea.. I found a website in Korea but I dont speak the language.. www.acdc-service.ru but you will find hard to finds part in Mazda.. not all but just call the ones near your area and ask for the parts department.. eneida
open the upper timing belt cover the first thing lower to crankshaft is water pump.
18 ft lbs then with torque angle meter on wrench turn 90 degrees 3 times. Use new head bolts they are torque to yield
You can look on ebay.com and type in the search box "1999 Daewoo" Also check your local junkyard for wrecked or junked Daewoo cars...the last option you can do is buy a new one from a retail reseller of Daewoo parts
