No, child support is established to Support the Child. There are usually clauses within a Divorce decree or Separation agreement that indicate when Child Support stops -- usually at eighteen, or if the chidl marries, or if the child dies.

If you have arrears, they will still have to be paid. Regardless of the death of a spouse or the age of the child.

If you, the payee, dies and there are arrears, the owed payment will be taken out of your funds and estate before the rest is distributed to those in your will.

If the mother dies, yes, you still pay child support to the children. They are still your children and still deserve money from you. Whether the mother is alive or not does not change the fact that you are a father. Instead of the support or arrears going to the mother, it goes to her estate, if she dies.
