There is no cure but the curvature can be either corrected or the progression of the curving can be halted. Treatments include physical therapy/stretches, brace treatment, or surgery. Surgery can correct the curve to some extent but not completely. ∙ 14y agoScoliosis can not be 'cured', sadly. It can be slowed down with a brace if your curve is under 50 degrees. And if you're nearly 18 you will probably be reasonably straight by the time you stop growing, however if it progresses you will need the surgery. If you have been told to have an operation i suggest you take it.
It's hard but it will be worth it in the long run (I had the operation about 4 months ago, I actually had to have two operations; I know it can be scary).

∙ 14y agoIt really depends on how serious you have Scoliosis. I tried physiotherapy and it did absolutly nothing for me, I feel the only way Scoliosis can be treated is through surgery.
