cocaine is classed as a stimulent, not an opiate. It is not derived from opium and does not posess the correct chemical structure to be classed as an opiate. Therefore i would imagine it would not be detected as an opiate in a drug screen

Only cocaine will shows up on a cocaine test. For opiates, it will be heroin, vicodin, oxy, percocet, etc.
