No, not everyone has health care insurance and those who do have to pay for their insurance. However you will always be treated if you go to the emergency room, except it'll cost you a bundle.

What are some pros and cons of a national healthcare plan?

PROS: Everyone can be treated when they're sick and not have to worry about getting turned away because they can't afford it. Everyone can feel safe. CONS: Everyone has to pay more for those who couldn't afford care. People may abuse free health care. Too many selfish a-holes for it to happen in the US though.

Why America not giving free health care for public?

The United States does have health care for every person living in the United States as to today. The issue, when one is honest, is not one of free health care. No country has that. Someone within the working class always pays for the health care. The issue before the current administration is the desire to have equal health care for everyone outside of the political arena. (They will still maintain a separate health care class). At the moment, it is possible to buy private insurance that allows me to have more control of my care then those that chose not to have health care that they pay for. St. Judes cares for Children regardless of ability to pay,as do hundreds of free clinics that are already paid for by those that pay taxes. We have 280 million insured people in this country. There are roughly 47 million that do not pay for any health care. Many of these do not want the health care and would be fined by the Government for not having it. (Current plan is $750.00 a year). Most of the remaining 12 to 17 million are illegal immigrants. It is questionable as to whether they should or would be covered. US citizens do not have coverage when in Canada. Yet, some want us to cover people that are here illegally. No other country does this.

Should everyone in society be guaranteed the best health care possible?

No. You get your own heath care. It should NOT just be given out. That would be the government taking care of us which goes against our founding fathers beliefs and what they sacrificed and died for.
