I don't think there are any countries that have a ban on male genital mutilation. however if you are Yes it is extremely painful The foreskin and penis are the most sensitive parts of the body And infants that are mutilated through circumcision are usually treated with a minimum or no anaesthetic. For those that are older and have anaesthetic the pain when the anaesthetic wears of is extreme for weeks. Not to mention the work that may well have to be done later to fix problems that are the result of the operation.
