Is it alright if u take grapefruit extract with statin medications? Is it alright if u take statins in the evening and grapefruit juice in the morning?
Yes you can take grapefruit with tricor. Tricor coming under fibreate family not the statin family. You should limit grapefruit juice and fresh grapefruit consumption while taking statins, as grapefruit can interfere with the liver's ability to metabolize these medications.
yes
I don't think there's any harm in that

Yes
Unlike Calcium Channel Blockers, which effects get enhanced by grapefruit juice, Beta Blockers (Tenormin) absorption from the gut decreases when taken with grapefruit juice. Researchers have found that grapefruit (whole or juice) inhibits certain enzymes in the intestinal mucosa responsible for Tenormin absorption. Therefore it is advised to avoid consuming grapefruit few hours before and after taking Tenormin to assure full absorption of the therapeutic dose of the drug by the gut.
Yes, Mifeprin can be taken with food, except for grapefruit or grapefruit juice. But consult your doctor if you have questions about the medication you are taking.
is it safe to take Nyquil with amitriptyline
Yes meloxicam (Mobic) is an NSAID and can be taken with as much grapefruit juice as you like. It should not, however be taken with aspirin, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, ketorolac, arthrotec or any other NSAID.
The first person who answered this question is an idiot. Grapefruit juice contains CYP3A4 inhibiting compound so yes, it does interact with various drugs, xanax being one of them. 3YP3A4 is the enzyme which metabolises xanax so drinking grapefruit juice with xanax potentiates the xanax because less of the xanax gets converted into inactive metabolites. Its not dangerous to take xanax with grapefruit juice at all, it just makes the xanax a little stronger so the obvious way to counteract that is to take less xanax. Heres a list of drugs that are metabolised by CYP3A4 (and thus potentiated by grapefruit juice): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CYP3A4#CYP3A4_ligands the substrates box contains the drugs metabolised by the enzyme. If you look in the inhibitors box, you'll see the compounds in grapefruit juice.
I am pretty sure you are not suppose to take them together
