If there is a single property of physical objects upon which both electrical and gravitational forces depend it is the property of mass. Without mass, there is no gravity. Likewise, without mass, the are no sources for electrical fields or apparatus for separating and transmitting charges.

What is the difference between electeical forces and gravitational forces?

-- Electrical force only cares about the charge on two objects, and ignores their mass. Gravitational force only cares about the mass of two objects, and ignores their charge. -- Electrical force can be attractive or repulsive. Gravitational force can only be attractive.

What is an electrical property of matter that creates a force between objects?

electrical force

Is it possible for a force to act between 2 objects when the objects are not even touching?

There are three types of forces that act between objects that are not in contact. They are gravitational force, magnetic force, and electrical force.

What is the physical property measured with a balance?

The physical property measured with a balance is mass. A balance is a kind of scale which compares the masses of two objects, usually one with a known mass (the standard) and one with an unknown mass. Since both objects are within the same gravitational field, they will have the same weight when the scale is balanced, where weight is the downward force on the object resulting from gravitational attraction. Real scales can change the relative lengths of the moment arms in order to weigh a wider variety of objects with a single set of standards. A good search term for this subject on Wikipedia is "weighing scale". Much more information can be found there.

What measure describes the amount of gravitational force of an object?

The measure that describes the amount of gravitational force of an object is its mass. Mass is a fundamental property of matter that determines the amount of gravitational force it exerts on other objects. The greater the mass of an object, the stronger its gravitational force.

What property of matter is a measurement of gravitational force?

When measured on Earth, it is the property of weight.Related information:Gravitational force is a force between two objects, given by this formula:Fg = G M1 M2 / r2Fg = the gravitational force. r = the straight line distance between the centers of the two objects. M1 and M2 = the masses of the two objects, respectively. G = the gravitational constant.

What is a measure of an object's ability to transmit electricity?

Electrical resistance. Ohms. How well something conducts electricity is called its conductance, which is measured in siemens (S). Conductance is the reciprocal of an objects electrical resistance. G=1/R

Which property of an objects particles is temperature?
