Wisdom teeth can definitely crowd your mouth and push on your other teeth, which may cause discomfort or even pain inside your mouth A few years ago I was told by a dentist that my wisdom teeth were not a problem and would not need to be pulled, but then a couple months ago I got a terrible toothache and thought it was a cavity. But my new dentist told me that it was just my wisdom teeth crowding my mouth and causing me pain. The pain in my mouth became increasingly worse by the week until I could get into my oral surgeon this past week to get my teeth out. If you're experiencing pain and your dentist recommends you get your wisdom teeth pulled, do it as soon as possible!!
My question was. I just had 5 teeth pulled at once, this is going on the 3rd week since. All the stitches have gone but I have a deep hole in one where it looks like the stitches came out to soon and it didn't close like the rest. It's still hurts should I keep rinsing with salt water are what?
It didn't hurt me very much, but other people I know have said otherwise. My advise get a good oral surgeon and have them really knock you out, and I think they gave me some laughing gas or nitrous oxide. That's really made me feel great and overall I was pretty out of it. But it only started to hurt when the effects started wearing off and I had not yet taken the prescribed medication. But give yourself at least a week to recover because it does kinda suck not being able to eat solid foods right away, and you will be hungry. I ate a lot of applesauce. But overall I thought that getting my wisdom teeth out hurts less than getting fillings. Oh and a few people told me that they were in pain when they first woke up, but for me that was not the case, I did not feel any pain, I actually felt pretty great.
You will be under an anesthetic when you get your wisdom teeth removed, so no, it will not be painful when you are undergoing surgery. However, your mouth may be in pain after the surgery, so your doctor will prescribe you some powerful painkillers and you will be just fine.
Actualy im facing that problem right now as im typing this. Well, not necessarily you're jaw, it's also your gums that hurt but, dont worry the pain will soon go away.
yes , and you can almost die from it as well
No. The pain - and a whole lot of it - comes afterwards.
Yes it does and it is so annoying too.
Yes
yes
Not unless there is a problem in cutting them or they are decayed or broken off. They are like other molars except they come in last.
There is a little soreness
No.
Very much so!!! Your wisdon teeth are trying to push other teeth out of the way to come in. Have your wisdon teeth removed ASAP to save yourself alot of pain.
yep! it does hurt....so let your dentist check it and give you antibiotics to lessen the pain, they will also recommend that you get your teeth a panaromic xray.
It depends if ur teeth are sencible if they are about 1 month if they are notabout 1 week
If the wisdom teeth are impacted on your top or bottom row of teeth, they could cause discomfort and push roots of other teeth together.
Teeth fall out randomly and there's no real pattern. Wisdom teeth are the last to grow but they do not push out any other teeth.
Before I had braces on, it was suggested that I have my wisdom teeth removed, so I did. It could however depend on the individuals teeth, mine were quite crowded or as they call it impacted. You'll be glad you got braces, good for you. Very often, if wisdom teeth have no room to erupt, it is recommended to extract them following an orthodontic treatment.
Molars come first. Wisdom teeth are the last natural teeth to appear in the mouth. Wikipedia explains: "They are generally thought to be called wisdom teeth because they appear so late-much later than the other teeth, at an age where people are presumably 'wiser' than as a child, when the other teeth erupt."
Anything that helps. Wisdom teeth hurt like hell so I wouldn't recommend aspirin or ibuprofin. Go with whatever they give you and moderate the dosage.
