If it does, then you're doing it wrong. Probably you are forcing notes that you can't naturally reach, or you are forcing volume.
Voice training can allow you to sing more loudly and hit higher notes without damaging your throat.

∙ 14y agoYour throat may feel sore but it doesn't usually. The reason why your voice changes is because your larynx (also called your Adam's apple or voice box) grows larger and this means that the pitch of the sounds which it makes become lower. Your larynx can become sore and inflammed if your catch laryngitis.
