The imbalance might occur from various factors but mycosyst is usually prescribed with some type of antibiotic[they destroy the cells,both "good cells"(that help with the digestion of food) and "bad cells"(Toxic)]. In some cases the antibiotic destroys more "good" cells than bad ones thus resulting into Diarrhea. That's one of the treatments involving mycosyst but it has many more.
