NO. Heroin breaks down into morphine in your body. Morphine shows up positive as an opiate on a standard 5 panel drug test. Oxycontin will not show up as positive for opiates on the 5 panel. Nor will Oxycodone or any other relative. Hydrocodone ( vicoden ) will show up positive under opiates because of the codein. The drug test has to specifically look for synthetic opiates. So, the answer is no. Unless they use a test that detects both.

∙ 7y agoOxy's are actually called "synthetic heroin", but that's besides the matter...the answer is no. All opiates show up as opiates. There is no differentiation between any of them. Whether you have a prescription for Oxycontin/morphine sulfate, or are slamming dope, it will show up as an opiate.
This is not necessarily true. It depends on the drug test. Some places will have specific tests such as a 12 panel and it will show up as heroin and oxy and mdma, THC etc some just show opiates then that will include oxy, heroin etc. BUT BUT BUT if this facility sends out the test to a lab, some do and some do it random then busted...Bad news.. Hope that doesn't happen it is way more expensive so one facility may not do it for that reason unless they make you pay for it in that case...Pray.. Listen many of us like to have fun but when the drug controls you and not you controlling the drug time to wake up or plan on living a sad life, no life or jail.
So get an education make money and be happy high on life...Much happier than worrying about stupid drug test.
BTW most counties will not pay for an expensive drug test that's why a lot of people have by the grace of God have passed their test, again though if by chance it is sent to a lab, why chance it?

I have to disagree. On a 7 panel test you can test for oxy, hydrocodone, plus the illegal heroin. Just depends on whether you are given the cheap 4 panel test or not.
