I know from personal experience. It affects children personally, and mentally. They could blame themselves, or be upset at either parent. It can lead to depression. Even sucide. It can affect their personal lives, if they're in school, and they start to keep tp themselves. Cutting their wrist, or doing drugs. Hope this Helps.

It depends how the child reacts to certain situations. If their good with dealing with situations like this they may be ok. But it is not unusual for the child to suffer greatly, with attention loss. A broken home never benefits a child.

There are many negative effects of a broken home on the academic performance of a child. If a child has a broken home they will probably have a hard time concentrating at school.
