I say yes it does most people say no but haven't tired it. when i use my heating pad on my period and i place it on my stomach i notice the next day it looks smaller and I've also tried it on my love handles. sweat helps u burn calories so if its making you sweat why wouldn't u loose weight. i hoped this help jus make sure it gets 2 the point of sweat where ever its placed.
