Does requip help with lower back pain and leg pain when taken with 60mg of Cymbalta?

I take Cymbalata total 60mg daily and ropinirole (generic for requip) .25 mg 3 tablets at bedtime. I have found my leg pain to be virtually gone. I do have lower back problems and RLS so these two are helping. I hope it stay this way.

the answer to you questions is that people get the same side effects that they do on lower doses. I am a psychiatrist and has used cymbalta at 90mg and 120mg in very select patients. I only increase it over 60mg if the patient is having no side effects. If they start to have side effects at these higher doses, i have them lower the dose back to where they were. Those who were able to tolerate it felt better. Richard
You are taking Avanza 30mg and Cymbalta 60mg since taking these you have been constipated Is this a common thing to happen If so how can you over come this?
Only taking cymbalta 60mg I have constipation, drink plenty of water and a cup of tea and fruit. I also have wierd dreams, dry mouth. Bridget

60 mg of cymbalta comes in a time releasse capsule that is blue on one half and white on the other. when you swallo it or shake it you can hear the stuff that's inside of the capsue. hope this helps

If switching from cymbalta to lexapro, the physician should induce a "step-down" therapy on the cymbalta while inducing a "step-up" therapy on lexapro. This ensures a level amount of drug in the blood, and minimizes the chance of recurrence and adverse effects.
Should you take Cymbalta and claratin together?
Yes. I am on 60mg cymbalta and 1-2mg Klonopin daily. I have no adverse reactions and in fact, my anxiety is at an all time low, no panic attacks, and I'm no longer depressed. This combo works wonders for me!
Can Cymbalta oxycodone and lorazepam be taking together?
I can only speak from my experience, but yes. I'm on 60mg cymbalta taken once per day and 80mg oxycontin (extended release oxycodone) taken 3 times per day (total 240mg). I also use 100mg lyrica taken twice per day and 20-40mg immediate release oxycodone for breakthrough pain. This is due to spinal nerve damage and neuropathic pain. That being said, I have taken lorazepam in addition to the above, but only every once in a while, not continuously. And I took the base dose, unfortunately i cannot remember what the 'base' dose of lorazepam is.
Can you take gabapentin?
My GP said it is ok as I am taking Gabapentin 900mg per day 1 x 300mg and 20mg of citalopram per day.

3-4 days@ 150 mg Effexor and 30mg Cymbalta 3-4 days @75 mg Effexor and 30 mg Cymbalta 3-4 days @37.5 mg Effexor and 60 mg Cymbalta I am changing from 300mg of effexor to cymbalta the doc is first dropping the effexor xr 75mg to 225 for a week, and then down 150 for a week, clymbalta increasing to 60mg, and from the 150mg, down 37.5mg until weaned off effexor with increasing cymbalta. that is how my doctor wants to do it, however over Christmas holidays we are not touching anything, and at any time if i feel wrong i am to go directly to the hospital. talk to your doc. good luck
I take 100mg lamictal 60mg Cymbalta and xanax as needed for ptsd. there is no effect whether i take lamictal ar not but i can't get off Cymbalta. can I wean from Cymbalta to st johns wort?
If I were you I wouldn't take st john wort. I've heard that it can make ptsd worse in some cases. I would try wellbutrin or budiproprion (Spelling) instead. Slowly wean from cymbalta. It can make you severely depressed and or manic even if you have never been. Also wellbutrin and the budi meds are the most natural meds they make for ptsd, depression, etc. if that's what your worried about. Good luck! :)
Is 30mg of Cymbalta enough or is 60mg more helpful?
I take 120 mg now, and was originally on 60. I found 60 to be the optimum dosage so far, but every person will be different. In general, though, 60 mg is considered the therapeutic dose.
