Suboxone is a partial OPIOID (not OPIATE) agonist which is semi-synthetic and will NOT show as an opiate on standard tests. They must specifically be testing for the drug (buprenorphine). Idiot.

∙ 14y agoi think it would show up just as an opiate would. it fills in the receptors for opiates to fool the brain. I have also known people to abuse suboxone to get high.
