Mankind has requested of God to be left alone.
God has his requirements for mankind; yet mankind has rejected them.
Therefore God has left mankind alone for a while, so that mankind could see that they can't really solve any problems.
But Jehovah God has promised to intervene. He promised that all 'evil doers' shall be 'cut off' / annihilated from the face of the earth. No one wants that kind of involvement by God - - But Jehovah's Witnesses, for example, look forward to this kind of involvement. When that happens, you might wish he really didn't get involved, instead of complaining about his lack of involvement.
Jehovah has given mankind the time to draw close to Him; to be reconciled to Him; don't mistaken this interum as 'lack of involvement'. View it as an opportunity to get right with God.
