Yes. You pull up on the buttons on the top of the seat back(next to the head-rest) to let the seat fold forward.
There is an access panel in the trunk, pull back the cover in the trunk and its easy from there.
Yes, just pull up on the knob at the back top of the rear seat area, and pull the seat forward.
There is an access panel in the trunk. Its very easy to change the bulb.
fold down the back seats and lift the whole back shelf off and then you can pop off the covers off from the back of that shelf
It is in the trunk. Look under the carpet and you will see a plastic cover with tools on it. The spare tire is under that.
This may or may not work but the Echo has a safety lock position when the key is inserted and turned left. This is to prevent trunk access either from the cabin pull latch or the trunk if it has been deliberately locked. To return it to the normal position, insert the key and and turn it to the right. You might have to jiggle it. Also, you will need a genuine Toyota key, since duplicates don't always work.
Looking for an Echo was created in 2000.
check in the trunk as the wires are exposed and luggage can very easily shift them so that they short out. This happened to my nephew who as a 2000 ECHO
There is a knob at the back top you have to pull up on while pulling the seat down. Sometimes for some reason they can be a bit stubborn, when all else fails, an alternate way to get them down is from the back, open the trunk and reach all the way back to the seat backs, you will see a metal slider, slide it over and push the seat forward (I believe this was intended as a safety feature, if a person were ever stuck in the trunk for some reason, they could get out this way).
