Depends on what your asking coverage for.

If your asking will your homeowners "Liability Coverage" replace or repair a damaged ATV then no. Liability covers damages and injuries to others.

SO,, If your asking will it cover injury to a pedestrian or bystander ( Not a resident of the insured home ) , Then yes it would provide coverage for the cost of legal defense and court judgements for an injury claim against you.

Most insurance companies will not offer you coverage at all. There are a few companies that will give you a regular homeowners policy if you sign an exclusion for animal liability. This means you will have a normal policy except it will not cover any claims having to do with animals.

How do you find your neighbors homeowners insurance for liability?

You will just have to ask them for the insurance information. there is no central registry or database for homes and the insurance companies that insure them. You should first determine if your neighbor even has Liability insurance. Not all homeowners purchase liability coverage with their insurance policy. A home insurance policy can be bought with or without liability coverage. If the homeowner has elected liability coverage, The homeowners insurance policy will provide the homeowner with legal defense for the cost of defending against a suit that is brought against them claiming liability on the part of the insured. If the Insured is found at fault or liable in court, then their insurance company will cover the cost of those liabilities up to the specified policy limits. Alternatively you can sue your neighbor. Then If your neighbor has Liability coverage on his home insurance policy, You will then meet your neighbors insurance company attorneys in court.

How do you find the homeowners insurance carrier for someone whose animal injured you?

The easiest way is just to ask them. Bear in mind though that most homeowners insurance policies now exclude coverage for damage and injuries from pets. Fortunately though our mandated ACA compliant health care policy will cover the associated cost and it has no limit and it does not matter how or where the injury occurred. Some homeowners purchase property coverage but do not purchase liability coverage, So there may or may not be coverage for your injury under the homeowners insurance policy. You will have to start a lawsuit and when you do (providing you were bitten by their animal or injured some other way) the lawyer or judge will find out the insurance information during something called disclosure and discovery. In the discovery process your attorney will learn if they have a homeowners insurance policy, if that policy has liability coverage and if the policy provides liability coverage for owned pets. If they do have and the policy has liability coverage and pet injuries are covered under the policy then you may receive a judgement. It would be much easier to just ask them first rather than have to sue first. Also bear in mind that an ACA compliant health insurance policy already covers such injuries.

Does homeowners insurance cover a window cracked by a rock thrown by your neighbor's lawnmower?

There is a coverage on most homeowners policies that is called "Pysical Damage to Property of Others". So, since you neighbor caused physical damage to your property, this would be the logical place to start. If this is not available, then the Liability coverage [portion of his policy would cover the damage.
