As a matter of fact, they do! It all depends on how the female was raised and how much noise/songs/tunes were around her as she grew up. I had bought a boy cockatiel who never sang; just sqeeked a lot. I proceeded to buy a female and at 6 a.m. every morning she'd sing the same tune for about 5 minutes. Pretty soon the male learned the song. I figured that the girl would soon learn a noise or song before the male, so I taught her how to whistle like someone sexy was walking by, the howl of a wolf and the Star Wars theme song. You can teach them to sing, it just takes time and patience, or maybe you'll get lucky like I did and already have a vocal female.
well yes and no because they sing if they want to and there is only one differecne and that is the purpose of the song for females its to atracta male and for fun but for a male the purpose of the song is to atract a female and for space claim hey if it is not right sorry but im 11 and im in 5th grade
Both. My parakeet is male and sings just about every morning, and my friend has 2 parakeets, one male, one female and they both sing.
Both male and female parakeets sing, squawk, chirp, etc.
Yes he will still sing.
female
Maybe
sometimes
Depends on the male if it usually goes in the nest then yes
you can leave them together all the time
The female and male parakeet do a cloaca kiss and make a baby bird deedadee
Female parakeet may be aggressive and sighted the bird as a territory threat or vice-versa. Female birds become anxious if they have eggs
I don't think so. I read that adult female parakeets noses are brown and that adult male parakeets noses are blue. But, young female parakeet's noses are "bluish" and a young male parakeet's nose is pink.
a parakeet do no sing get a parrot
Probably when they are very affectionate with one another or you have baby parakeets.
