Yes the Temperature does effect the bounce of a Basketball. If your playing outside in the cold, the ball will not bounce as high as it would inside a gym. If the Temperature is pretty decent then the ball will bounce how its supposed to.

Alright!!!!

Yes. If it is colder the ball will bounce less than when it is warmer.

the temperature of a basketball effects it's bounce because the air partacles in the ball slow down causing it to lose pressure and it doesn't bounce as well. if a ball has more pressure it bounces better.

A basketball bounces its highest at 76 degrees fahrenheit. I did a science experiment on it.

Depends on a lot of factors. Climate can effect how long a basketball holds its bounce. Really cold weather (below 50) will cause a basketball to loose it's bounce rather quickly. If stored at room temperature, a basketball should hold its bounce for around 3-6 months.

The basketball at room temperature has more energy, because cold is just the absence of energy. The ball that is frozen would not bounce as high because it is wanting to stay in that shape, and has less time to react.

Because the temprature is responsible for the pressure inside the ball.

Yes, temperature affects the pressure of the air and when the pressure outside the ball is lower, the pressure inside will be greater, thus making it bounce better.

you bounce a ball in basketball by hitting the ball against the ground.

Helium will make a basketball bounce higher because when it is put into the basketball the air particles move faster and faster causing the basketball to bounce higher.

The air in a basketball lets the basketball bounce.

The temperature of a room will effect the amount a ball will rebound (bounce) off the floor, off a backboard or rim. If a basketball is filled with air to the regulation pressure and then it is moved to a room with a higher temperature, the ball will soon start to bounce more. Alternatively if you move it a cooler room it will bounce less. This is because: Pressure = Volume x Temperature. As the temperature rises (assuming there is no leak in the ball to allow the volume of air to escape) the pressure on the inside of the ball will increase, this will increase the bounce of the ball. If, instead of the temperature rising, it decreases the pressure on the inside of the ball will go down and the bounciness of the ball will go down as well.

no basketball can't not bounce with rubbing alcohol because that is not something that can bounce a basket ball. I am just using my opinion

yes it will imangine a flat basketball will it bounce? not at all.

the ball wont bounce high enough for you to bounce it.

Gravity affects the bounce of a basketball because if there is gravity, the basketball will come back down after it bounces. But if there is no gravity, the basketball will bounce and travel indefinitely upwards and never come back down until a gravitational force pulls the basketball towards it.

the basketball can bounce for as long as it wants to or as much force was put into the basketball. try for yourself so go outside and do it. do it. do it.....do it today. the basketall should bounce more times the harder the force

the basketball will most likely bounce higher on a flat surface

No,of course not, the friction between the basketball and the grass would make the ball bounce less.

A volleyball, because it is made of material that will bounce well and is lighter than a basketball.

will a basketball or a tennis ball bounce higher with more air?

A basketball will bounce more on concrete because it is a flatter surface then carpet and grass
