Do men tell the truth when drunk?

I would say more likely to tell the truth. When someone is drunk they are less inhibited when telling the truth because their mind is no longer thinking about the consequences of what they are saying. Of course this differs depending on how drunk the person is. If they are just tipsy then chances are they still have complete control over what they're saying and so may be lying.

to be honest that depends on the person being drunk, everyone reacts differently to alcohol,and there is also the frame of mind at the time, that makes a difference, ie if your happy you are not going to be as aggressive and probably lovey, if your depressed you will probably cry more and get angry, etc.

people tend to use alcohol as an excuse to say hurtful things or even overly nice things(ie how pretty you look, smell) and do things they wouldn't normally. alcohol lowers the inhibitions in the brain you don't CARE if you hurt anyone or even yourself so it doesn't necessarily mean they are being truthful but they maybe opportunistic instead.

but it all depends on that person.

Being drunk definetly loosens the tongue, and causes one to talk more openly than normal, being drunk also tends to make one feel a bit more reckless which can cause some things to be said that are better left unsaid.

alcohol can sometimes make the truth come out, but then again it can also distort a situation and change the person under the influence. The best thing to do is to not listen to drunk people, and if anything that is said stays in your head ask them about it when they're sober the next day.
