Tungsten Carbide does not contain any iron, so it cannot produce anything like ordinary reddish flaky rust. Tungsten does not readily react with oxygen, although it can react with some chlorine compounds.

In practice, end mills or jewelry made of tungsten carbide seem to darken slightly with age, but this does not appear to be progressive or destructive.

From what I've heard it can only rust above temperatures of 400 degrees Celsius, which is about 752 degrees Fahrenheit.
