No. Dorms are the best way to get to know people and have a social life which is a break from studying. The down-side to dorms are they are more noisy so if you require absolute silence to study and sleep, you will have a problem. But if your "own living space" is an apartment building also filled with college students, that may be just as noisy.
The University of North Dakota (UND) has 14 residences halls, one apartment-style building called University Place, and over 850 conveniently located apartments.
yes. there are. there are apartment style dorms and freshman dorms.
the dorms vary from old to new the new dorms are really nice and can be considered "green" dorms. one of the newest and nicest dorms that everyone wants to get into is called the Likins dorm. most of the dorms on highland street are nice dorms and they are relatively close to everything.
does the AIU tech school have dorms
No. I was originally told that every freshman has to live on campus, but once I got here, I found out that a lot of students live in apartments. The good thing about living in an apartment is that you can have a car during your freshman year. In the dorms, you can only have a car if you have a specific reason such as working at home or student teaching. Living in dorms for your first year can be beneficial because you get to meet a lot of people, and the dorms are really close to campus and all the food courts. Plus you get a lot of free things while living in the dorms. Every week, we got some sort of free food and there are ALWAYS event going on. I suggest to pick a dorm other than Meredith and Cary. They are very tiny... 17' by 9'. Living in a dorm such as Harrison or Cary gives you a lot more room. However you have to walk an extra 5 minutes for those dorms.
No we dont have dorms sadly
No, Elgin Community College does not have Dorms
Living in a college dorm can be very inexpensive compared to living off campus. Some dorms also offer meal plans in addition to the cost of your room. Rates will vary depending on the college you attend.
There are no dorms but they college administration staff could provide resources to search out dorms around the college. they do have good neighbourhood list of accomodations.
In Spirit Caller you cannot move up dorms. You can get the other dorms' jackets, but that's it.
One could get tips for living the dorm life by other students that have lived in the dorms in previous years, one could also talk to professors or their parents as well.
