Yes. Smells like jasmine, rose, sandalwood, and gardinia make you in a romantic mood. Smells like lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange (citrus) put you in an energetic mood. Smells like eucalyptus, mint, pine, and citrus are uplifting. Vanilla calms you.

Weather can certainly affect your mood. Gloomy gray days without a lot of sunlight thunderstorm washes a lot of pollutants out of the air and leaves ozone behind, make some people feel sad. Bright, sunny days seem to be more cheerful. A good which makes you feel more energetic. Many depressed people actually use light as therapy.

Actually, mood does affect your ability to smell. A depressed feeling has a poorer smell sensitivity, and a poorer ability to detect smells.
