my Peugeot 306 has a twin headlight on drivers side and a single unit on passenger is that normal
Before replacing the headlight bulbs on a 1997 Acura CL prop the hood open. Locate the headlight housing and remove the old bulbs. Install the new lights.

You need three Polocks!
There are two bolts holding the headlight buckets in, you will need to remove them to get at the bulbs. The lens will come out and you will pull the bulbs out of the lens itself. They are hex head bolts, DO NOT TURN THE TORX SCREWS THEY ARE THE ADJUSTING POINTS FOR AIMING.
You will probably have to take the complete headlight assembly out or loose to be able to get to the bulbs.
The low beams use 9006 and the high beams use 9005.
Take the light assy off and take the bulbs out the back.
Yes you can just replace the headlight bulbs. First you have to take out the cover by the battery. Then unscrew the cover by the radiator and simply lift it up to take it off. The light bulbs are visible at this time.
To replace the parking light bulbs, remove the screw on top of the headlight and pop out the clearance light. The parking light bulb will be accessible after this removal.
There are 2 hex shaped rods protruding from the top of the headlamp assembly. You can see these above the headlight after you open the hood. Just use a small socket (5/16" I believe) and unscrew these 2 rods and the headlight assembly can be removed . . . (it drops out of the front) . . . thereby exposing the headlight bulbs.
