no it has a 4 digit serial #
Knickerbocker came from 2 different companies. The American Gun Company, New York, stamped a five digit serial number on the barrel, forestock and stock end.
Being a sxs its approx gun value is $350.00I
If the gun is in good condition with no rust it would be a great mantle piece. Because of it's age(?) it might not be as safe to shoot modern ammo. For this, the guns' money value would be approx. $65-$125.
The best that I can do is say that the Lefever Nitro special was made from 1921-1948.
That one is too obscure for my books. Try asking the National Rifle Association through their magazine The American Rifleman (you can usually find a copy in the library, good barber shops, or guns shops).
England, impossible to give value without name of maker.
I just got a western field 410 shotgun and wondering the value of It
Approx. 1869 is when it was patented.
00-1000 usd
Around $100 depending on condition.
With the serial number that you have supplied,it sounds as if you have a N.I.D.model Ithaca double barrel shotgun made in either 1928,or 1929.The Initials N.I.D.stand for the words New Ithaca double While you have not provided a detailed description of the shotguns overall condition, including the amount of original finish remaining.I can say that the price range is between 315-825 dollars, depending on the gauge and grade of the shotgun in question. If you choose to repost your question with the grade and correct gauge of your shotgun along with the choice of triggers supplied, and if the barrels are plain or vent rib,I could more define the value for you.
