∙ 13y agoElectrons are moving all the time at very fast speeds and are arranged only in energy levels. The first can hold 2, the second 8, the third 16, and so on. Electrons really just float around the nucleus.

∙ 13y agoWell, electrons are arranged in orbitals (s, p, d, and f) and are part of energy levels. The outermost electrons are called valence electrons and are part of the valence(outer0 shell. When an atom has a full shell of electrons it is considered to have an octet, or pseudo-noble gas configuration.
When you draw the arrangement of electrons in an atom out, you use orbital box diagrams, or Lewis Dot (electron dot) diagrams. I hope that helps!
