Every human eats around one pound of insects a year is that true?
no it wasnt no it wasnt
It's not certain, It depends on where you live :) That is very unlikely. You would mostly only be eating microscopic insects. That like eating billions of insects every year. It would mean that like you have a constant flow of insects going into you. So I guess the answer would be no. And those things living on you are not insects so they don't count.
it is said to believe that humans eat about one pound of insects every year without even knowing it! But that is just myth!! There is no scientific proof that we eat a pound of insects every year. There are insect pieces in almost all processed foods sold in any grocery store. How much processed food we eat determines how many bugs we eat. YAY!

Thus, causing them to eat and, or just swallow said bug.
I have heard that before, but I always thought it was ridiculous. But then I read an answer to a similar question on this site, and found out that the insects find their way into processed food. It's not that pounds of insects crawl into your mouth every year while you're asleep, which is what I thought they were talking about when they said people eat pounds of insects a year. Unfortunately, I can't find…
