Example of a substance that sublimates?
Menthol sublimates quite easily. If you can get your hand on a bottle of pure menthol you can observe very fine crystalline needles of menthol - not only on the bottles ground but also from the sides or the top. They grow by resublimation. This means that solid menthol sublimates (s --> g) and the vapour resublimates on surfaces (g-->s).
